If you are new to exercise, start with a regular at-home workout. If you have some experience, try something that’s more intense or challenging. It can help to get moving during the first few weeks of your program so you stay on track.
What if I don’t feel very motivated?
It doesn’t matter what stage of life you’re in–being fit is important for everyone! Remember, people who are inactive tend to be overweight and unhealthy no matter their age or occupation. Keeping active will boost your energy levels and improve quality of life as well as lower risk for illness and disease later in life. Talk about it with friends who know how hard it can be sometimes to keep up an exercise program when everything else feels urgent around work or school commitments–or even family problems!
