When Is The Best Time To Water My Lawn

The best time to water your lawn is in the morning, depending on the weather. If it’s warm outside and you can open all faucets for a while, then do so. If there are clouds that look like they could bring rain or if you see dark skies overhead (also known as thunderheads), then wait until later in the day. But if you live where summertime conditions get very hot, don’t water at all during peak afternoon hours! Watering when temperatures get high will encourage evaporation, which will make it drier than normal right after watering (which makes plants more vulnerable to pests). You want your grass to be moist enough that blades of grass stick up straight but not soggy wet…that will encourage disease instead of growth!
