When Is The Best Time To Use Weed And Feed On Grass

You can feed all year round, but you should wait at least 6 months after the last feeding before giving your lawn another dose. This is because it takes that long for the excess nutrients to flush out of your lawn and into the soil. You want to give a good “cleaning” during this time rather than risk creating any problems for your grass in future. The best time to do spring/summer feeds is in early March or late September when there are less insects around (but remember not too much too soon!)
