When Is The Best Time To Trim Shrubs


Most shrubs are best trimmed in early spring. The plants have finished blooming and new growth is just beginning. In late summer, the plant will begin to grow tall again so it’s time to clip the stems back by an inch or two to encourage bushier growth.
