Around sunrise and sunset, depending on the season. In the wintertime, it’s best to take pictures of your models in a shady spot or under cover from direct sunlight.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use a Canon EOS Rebel T1i with a 50mm lens and/or an 80-200mm lens for portraits. For landscapes I’ll either use my 5D Mark II or my 4×5 camera. When it comes to editing photos, I will usually edit them on Adobe Photoshop CS6 as well as Microsoft Photo Editor (Windows). The post production process can be very time consuming so if you don’t mind spending some money on software, then go ahead! Because photography is not ‘easy’, investing that extra cash into good photo editing programs will help make your images look more professional and attractive when they’re posted online.
How long does it take to get a photo edited/produced? Is there any guarantee that I’ll receive my finished product before they are shipped out? If yes where am I able to check how many days away from being ready?
