When Is The Best Time To Take Melatonin

This is one of the most common questions we get from people new to melatonin. As a general rule, it’s best to take melatonin at bedtime for sleep induction. However, you can also use it as a supplement during the day if necessary — especially on days when you need your body to work harder and stay awake longer than usual (for example, before or after exercise). You may find that taking melatonin in this way makes it easier for you to fall asleep earlier at night. It’s fine if you end up taking less than recommended; however, making sure you don’t take any more than would normally be due is important since some supplements contain other ingredients which can affect how well they promote sleep. So make sure that what you’re getting is pure melatonin only!
