Neowise is visible from November 15th to January 24th. It will be at its brightest in mid December, when it will be visible to the naked eye with a small telescope. The comet’s orbit takes it east of the sun, so you can expect neowise to get progressively dimmer as it passes behind the sun again during March and April 2010 before returning back into view on January 25th – 31st 2011 for another spectacular display!
Does neowise have an orbit? How do I know where on Earth I am looking at them?
