When Is The Best Time To Repot An Orchid


We found that repotting orchids is a rather hit and miss affair. While some plants will thrive in the same pot for years on end, others won’t even make it through their first year. If you’re unsure about how long your plant has been growing in its pot, simply look into the soil at the base of the plant to see if there are any roots coming out of it. If so, this indicates that your plant has become rootbound and needs a new home. Once you have a sense for when a particular orchid requires repotting, ask yourself two questions: Is your current grow space adequate? And is what you have planned more suitable?
