When Is The Best Time To Pump

Pumping before your next period starts is the most effective time. Pumping at other times can be helpful, but it may not result in as much milk production as pumping right after the first few days of your period. It’s important to note that you should never pump more than once every four hours; otherwise your body won’t know when to stop producing milk. You also need to pay attention to what you eat and drink during this time, since having too much caffeine or alcohol (for example) will decrease how much breastmilk you produce.
