When Is The Best Time To Post On Social Media

Engagement, while nice to have on social media, is not the only metric that’s important. As a matter of fact, it can be very confusing and misleading. You would like to get your content out there in front of people as quickly as possible (and hopefully with some engagement), but what happens after they read it? If you want them to come back for more and share your posts with their friends and family, then you need something else: visibility.

I think we all know the reason why brands post often: They want more sales. But how do we figure out if our posts are actually driving sales? That’s where engagement becomes so tricky — because without knowing that number or how many times someone has seen or engaged with an image or video, there is no way to tell whether more people will see this content in the future! And if they don’t see your message again before their next shopping trip at Whole Foods Market®, then you may just lose credibility along with those potential customers who were unable to find your brand when browsing through Pinterest® boards looking for healthy recipes during September holidays (*cough* Whole Foods).
