When Is The Best Time To Pop A Blister

The best time to pop a blister is at night, before you go to bed. If the blister is on your heel or toe, make sure that it’s completely dry and has no direct exposure to water before popping it—don’t just rub them with lotion or put some cream on top of the blisters. You also need to remove any dead skin cells from around your foot since these can harbor bacteria that can infect an open blister. Also apply over-the-counter hydrocortisone creams if there are signs of infection (redness, swelling).
