When Is The Best Time To Plant Hibiscus Seeds

The best time to plant hibiscus seeds is when the soil has warmed up to 60 degrees F. To determine the proper time, dig a hole wide enough for your seed packet and fill it with soil. Add water until it settles about an inch down in the hole. Set your hibiscus seeds on top of this surface and cover them with more soil, making sure they are completely covered by at least one inch of earth. Water thoroughly before planting out into full sun or partial shade once you see germination occurring. Hibiscus plants will take several weeks to fully emerge from their dormant state after planting out so do not remove them too soon even though they may be visible above ground level already!
