When Is The Best Time To Kill Yellow Jackets

Well, if you have a cat or dog to keep the yellow jackets away from your flowers. If not, I recommend killing them in early morning before they are out for their day’s hunting. The same holds true with black bees and hornets. We can always kill them after dark when they are home eating our food stocks but before they leave their nests to go about their business during the day time hours. Your best bet is to time your attack on these insects well before sunset. This will allow them plenty of time to get back into the nest where it is warm and cozy for hatching little honeybees or wasps one by one until you have enough eggs collected together to make a nice batch of what ever honey product that you want made from wasp eggs!
