A: Basically, there are two types of people who buy treadmills – those that need to lose weight and those that want to maintain or gain muscle mass. The first type should be looking for a cardiovascular machine with an incline setting and an adjustable speed so they can adjust the intensity of their workout. However, this is not necessary as you can simply run at a slower pace on your treadmill without worrying about over-training yourself! If you’re trying to build up muscle tone then we recommend buying one with a high incline feature which will help you target areas like the abs, thighs & buttocks more effectively. We also suggest investing in some resistance bands if you plan on using it for both cardio training and strength building exercises (we have some great ones here). Lastly, remember that your treadmill needs to be just right before making any purchases because these machines tend not only affect our fitness levels but also how quickly we burn calories during exercise!
