There is some really great advice out there on what the best time to buy a lawn mower would be. The general consensus seems to be springtime, after all, it’s warmer outside and you have more time to use your lawn mower if you do so in the morning or late afternoon. Other expert advice suggests that it should be at least 2 months before buying a new one as this will give the manufacturer enough time for any warranty changes they have implemented since manufacturing was completed. If you are just looking to sharpen up your blade then by all means go ahead but if you are looking for something that can cut through thick grass or heavy weeds then wait until fall or winter when the temps are cooler and not too hot anymore. This way your blades will last longer, plus there won’t be as much humidity which could damage them even further!
